Clothing Donations at the Library


Throughout the month of November, all 15 Library locations will serve as drop-off points for clothing donations to benefit Covenant House New Orleans, an organization that provides housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness.

The following items are needed: new men’s and women’s undergarments, bras, or sports bras; new or gently used winter weather clothing (hats, scarves, gloves, and jackets).

Teensgiving: No-Sew Fleece Scarf Workshops

In recognition of Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week, November 16 - 24, teens can create no-sew fleece scarves to give to the Covenant House Donation Drive.

Algiers Regional Library on Monday, November 18 from 4pm - 6pm

Rosa F. Keller Library & Community Center on Wednesday, November 20 from 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Milton H. Latter Memorial Library on Wednesday, November 20 from 4pm - 6pm

Nora Navra Library on Thursday, November 21 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Main Library on Thursday, November 21 from 5pm - 7pm
