The New Orleans Public Library has partnered with YMCA Educational Services (YES!) and Tulane School of Social Work to bring quality computer skills training to the Main Library. Find the offering that's right for you from the options listed below.

Computer Assistance

Not sure how to turn on a computer? Afraid to use the mouse? Baffled by all the technological terms? Ready to explore the Internet? Got the basics but want to learn more? Join us in the Technology Center for Computer Class. Classes are appropriate for beginners and intermediate computer users.
Mondays & Thursdays at 10am - 11:30am

YES! Services by Appointment

Computer basics; email accounts; My Hire (LA Works), SNAP, and general benefits application assistance; resume preparation, online job applications, locating social services information (e.g housing, meals, etc.), and referrals to specialized employment programs in the New Orleans area.
For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 504-596-3842. Reservations are required.
Services are available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 10am - 4:45pm.

Book-a-Librarian (Technology Assistance by Appointment)

1-on-1 assistance with Internet use, general computer skills, online web searching, software use, and accessing resources available through the library using various electronic devices.

Services are available daily during library hours.
