Thank you Southeast Louisiana Legal Services!

In July 2020, the New Orleans Public Library partnered with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services (SLLS) to connect Library users to virtual civil legal help during the pandemic. In the almost six years since, our SLLS referral form has been used 814 times. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to SLLS for helping so many New Orleanians during an uncertain and scary time.

 

Now that the height of the pandemic has passed, it is time to remove the form from our website. SLLS still provides free, civil legal aid to low-income people throughout southeast Louisiana. You can contact them at slls.org.
